Little Wonders is a wonderful learning center located right here in Missouri City. This is where talent, imagination and professional skills are being dedicated to the teaching of our young children. We understand that children learn differently. Through observation and listening, we encourage each individual's unique learning styles; while focusing on their physical, educational and emotional needs. All of our teachers are professionally qualified with combined expertise in education, speech & hearing therapy, bilingual education and English as a Second Language. With a low student-teacher ratio, we provide your child with the attention they need. Little Wonders Learning Center is located at the corner of Lexington Blvd. and Dulles Ave. In this center, you will find a number of warm, loving teachers committed to putting children first. This isn't your ordinary day care facility.

Art Art Art!

There have been a bunch of new thing happening in the after school room lately! The students recently received a new teacher named Ms. Nosheen, and to learn a little bit about who then are and what they like she had them create a collage. First, she explained what a collage was and then gave them magazines, glue, tape, and paper and let them go crazy. The results were beautiful and they were able to talk about their pieces and themselves to each other.

They also started a little competition in the class following the collage project. They decided to start an art contest. They are able to work in whatever medium that they choose and the art work has to be creative! The work will be judged by a few of the teachers here and there will be a grand prize. All of the students are very excited and have been working very hard in class. We will keep you posted on their progress in the following days!

Fall Festival Planning

Who better to put in charge of a festival, than the children themselves! The after school children are in the process of planing the booths for our fall festival.

They will do the face painting, trick or treating, and set up games for the younger children.

We would love to have any "clean trash" to help with our set up! Anything like big boxes, fabric, or anything that could possibly be reused by the children would be greatly appreciated!

Let us know if you have any questions or suggestions.

Thanks ;0)
