Little Wonders is a wonderful learning center located right here in Missouri City. This is where talent, imagination and professional skills are being dedicated to the teaching of our young children. We understand that children learn differently. Through observation and listening, we encourage each individual's unique learning styles; while focusing on their physical, educational and emotional needs. All of our teachers are professionally qualified with combined expertise in education, speech & hearing therapy, bilingual education and English as a Second Language. With a low student-teacher ratio, we provide your child with the attention they need. Little Wonders Learning Center is located at the corner of Lexington Blvd. and Dulles Ave. In this center, you will find a number of warm, loving teachers committed to putting children first. This isn't your ordinary day care facility.

Fall Festival Planning

Who better to put in charge of a festival, than the children themselves! The after school children are in the process of planing the booths for our fall festival.

They will do the face painting, trick or treating, and set up games for the younger children.

We would love to have any "clean trash" to help with our set up! Anything like big boxes, fabric, or anything that could possibly be reused by the children would be greatly appreciated!

Let us know if you have any questions or suggestions.

Thanks ;0)

Primary, Secondary, Tertiary Colors

Today for our painting project we learned about:
Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary Colours

Primary Colors
Colours that "cannot be obtained by mixing other hues, but one can produce all the other hues by mixing the primaries." (red, blue, and yellow)
Secondary Colors
Colours "made by mixing their adjacent primaries; for example, yellow mixed with blue makes green."
Tertiary Colors
"A mixture of primary and secondary hues: yellow-green is a mixture of the primary yellow and the secondary green."

We are making BEAUTIFUL paintings using all of the different shades!

Monochromatic Portraits!

We are learning about different color schemes in class! Today we learned how to make different shades of one color using black and white! We took pictures of ourselves and then used one color to paint our portraits!

They are hanging in our rooms for everyone to admire ;0)
