Little Wonders is a wonderful learning center located right here in Missouri City. This is where talent, imagination and professional skills are being dedicated to the teaching of our young children. We understand that children learn differently. Through observation and listening, we encourage each individual's unique learning styles; while focusing on their physical, educational and emotional needs. All of our teachers are professionally qualified with combined expertise in education, speech & hearing therapy, bilingual education and English as a Second Language. With a low student-teacher ratio, we provide your child with the attention they need. Little Wonders Learning Center is located at the corner of Lexington Blvd. and Dulles Ave. In this center, you will find a number of warm, loving teachers committed to putting children first. This isn't your ordinary day care facility.

July 13th - 17th

Monday we will continue working on our art projects.

Tuesday we have something SUPER exciting planned! We will begin our day with a photo project. For this project we will need digital cameras with the connectors to upload on computers. If your child cannot bring this, no worries, the school's cameras are available. After we take our photos, we will take a small field trip to Marjon Aucoin's Studio to learn how to use Adobe Photoshop on our photos! A permission slip will need to be filled out for this, but there will be no cost. Your child will need to bring a sack lunch on this day. For more information on Marjon Aucoins work, you can visit her website at http://marjonillustration.blogspot.com/.

Wednesday we are working on our books. They are coming along wonderfully! I wish I could enter them in a contest, the stories and illustrations are so creative!

Thursday we will take a culinary trip to China! On our menu we have......................

Chinese Noodles With Chicken

Eggdrop Soup

Almond Floats

Friday we will take a trip to the Tea House on the Corner of Lexington and Sweetwater! This is going to be so fun! This tea house has around 300 different drinks they make using fresh fruits, tapioca, and so much more! The kids will take a tour and learn how to make their own drinks.

Italy

We didn't waste any time, and we jumped right in to cooking our Italian recipes! Of course we had to make every one's favorite - Fettuccine Alfredo! But we made it special by adding prosciutto and peas.........mmmmmmmmmmmmm!

We also wanted to add a vegetable in our meal so we chose Asparagus with Gremolata Butter! It was delicious!

And I am sorry to say that we did make a Ricotta Cake, but it disappeared before I could get a picture of it! ;0)
