Little Wonders is a wonderful learning center located right here in Missouri City. This is where talent, imagination and professional skills are being dedicated to the teaching of our young children. We understand that children learn differently. Through observation and listening, we encourage each individual's unique learning styles; while focusing on their physical, educational and emotional needs. All of our teachers are professionally qualified with combined expertise in education, speech & hearing therapy, bilingual education and English as a Second Language. With a low student-teacher ratio, we provide your child with the attention they need. Little Wonders Learning Center is located at the corner of Lexington Blvd. and Dulles Ave. In this center, you will find a number of warm, loving teachers committed to putting children first. This isn't your ordinary day care facility.

Primary, Secondary, Tertiary Colors

Today for our painting project we learned about:
Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary Colours

Primary Colors
Colours that "cannot be obtained by mixing other hues, but one can produce all the other hues by mixing the primaries." (red, blue, and yellow)
Secondary Colors
Colours "made by mixing their adjacent primaries; for example, yellow mixed with blue makes green."
Tertiary Colors
"A mixture of primary and secondary hues: yellow-green is a mixture of the primary yellow and the secondary green."

We are making BEAUTIFUL paintings using all of the different shades!

Monochromatic Portraits!

We are learning about different color schemes in class! Today we learned how to make different shades of one color using black and white! We took pictures of ourselves and then used one color to paint our portraits!

They are hanging in our rooms for everyone to admire ;0)

Candelari's Pizzaria

We had such a great time at this restaurant! If you haven't been there yet, then you MUST make time to go! It is the best pizza restaurant in town! The people who work there are SO nice and they really went out of their way for the kids.

The children really learned a lot. The got the complete tour of the restaurant and they even got to ask the host questions they had thought of before we got there. He was impressed by their questions!

We made our own pizzas, and they gave us every topping we asked for! We even cleaned up after ourselves. We got to wash our own dishes in the GIANT dish washing machine!

Thank you Candelari's for a wonderful field trip!
